Chitwan National Park, home to the Royal Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris), endangered one- horned rhinoceros (Rhinocerous unicornis) and Gaur or bison (Bos aurus) among other wild animals, is one of Nepal’s seven World Heritage Sites.
