Overview

The Classic Everest Trek promises to be one of the most memorable journeys that you have ever undertaken, a journey that will be etched in your mind for a long time to come. This trek takes you to the heart of Sherpa land as well as the heart of Himalaya. You will also get to visit the Tengboche monastery perched high atop a saddle. The mountain views from here are simply breathtaking.

You might also get a glimpse of a musk deer or two around this area. You will be passing through clusters of villages inhabited by the Sherpas whose welcoming smile and hospitable demeanor make your trip all the time more enjoyable.

From Kala Patthar (5,545 m) you get to take in even more spectacular views of the Himalayan hulks, including the south west face of Everest. From Everest Base Camp, which lies beside the Khumbu glacier, you can feast your eyes on the Khumbu Icefall. The Base Camp is the end point for trekkers and the starting point for climbers. Although challenging in terms of elevations gained, there is no technical climbing involved and anyone who loves the outdoors and is in good physical shape can undertake this trip
